🎉 Angels in the Pines is a Holiday Memorial Tree Event.  Honor and remember your loved ones with a beautifully lit tree, decorated by your family, in this special outdoor display.  Presales open at Daniel Boone Freedom/Harvest Festival on Oct. 17, 2026.  Tree sales will continue through December 11, 2026.  The cost of each tree is $50.00.

Friday, December 11, 2026 (9am-4pm) Present your ticket at event location and receive your tree tag.  Choose one of the available trees and reserve it by attaching your tag.  You may begin decorating your tree at this time.  Please be careful not to tag a tree that has already been claimed by someone else. Families/Sponsors may choose their own theme and bring all decorations (no glass, breakable items or tinsel.) Each tree will utilize solar powered LED lights only.

Saturday December 12, 2026 (9am-4pm) continue decorating your tree.  Only LED solar lights may be used.  All decorations and lights must be in place by 4:00pm on Saturday, December 12, 2026 so the display can be tested prior to the official tree lighting.  Official tree lighting Ceremony will begin at 4:30pm. Join us for hot cocoa and cookies and singing.

December 12, 2026-January 1, 2027 trees will be displayed and illuminated through New Year's Day, allowing families and friends to visit their loved one's tree throughout the holiday season.

Sunday, January 3, 2027- All decorations must be removed by 4:00 pm on Sunday, January 3, 2027 by families/sponsors. After this deadline, organizers will remove and dispose of remaining decorations.
